Bragi's players was developed in 2017 with the vision of making children's theater more readily available in our community. Participants range from grades K-12. This community theater is open to the public. Rehearsals and show productions are held at Taft Grade Auditorium. Our theater program is completely run by volunteers and students. The fee to join includes costs for production materials, scripts, a t-shirt and video copy of the production. All rehearsals and performances are held at Taft Grade School in Lockport, IL.
To date we have performed four productions including Grease, Seussical Jr., The Lion King Jr. The Little Mermaid Jr., and Beauty and the Beast Jr. We are excited to announce our next production of Frozen Jr. coming in 2025. We are excited to announce our 2025 Spring production!!
All registrants will be cast in the show, unless we reach capacity. The registration fee must be paid before the first rehearsal. You can find the rehearsal calendar in the registration packet. Rehearsals are held on Mondays, Thursdays, or Fridays, but a scene-specific calendar will be provided, and cast members will receive their individual schedules based on their roles and scenes. Fee is $150 per cast member ($100 additional siblings). Family volunteer commitment is 10 hours or buy out is $100.

Please note: Auditions are structured to acquaint the student, collect necessary paperwork, and determine the most suitable role for them. Students will sing and read individually at auditions and dance with their group.
